About Me

How long have you been doing what you do, and how did you become a Master Trainer? 

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment, and a resulting “compelling story”, that brought me to where I am today – coaching people like you on exactly what to do to improve, or restore their performance, improve their health and mental health, improve their body composition and boost their confidence!  

My coaching career started after a 2 year working holiday through Australia, Bali, and Thailand. I Upon arriving home, I contacted my former college athletics director and gained a position as the assistant coach of the women's college soccer team.  I love working with the athletes and had a dream of being my own coach one day. I started to recognize and accept my passion and talents.

While being back home I found myself repeating the same unhealthy behaviors for years. I became so fed up with my own behavior I decided to take a step in the next direction of my career. I contacted a local studio about a gift certificate my dad had given me. Before I knew it, I was signed up for a  6 week challenge called The Skinny Jeans Contest.  It involved 3 group workouts a week and nutritional guidance and hoping to fit into a pair of jeans 2 sizes smaller! I fell in love with the system,with proven results. After a very successful 6 weeks, I fit into my jeans 2 sizes smaller. 

As soon as I decided to commit to this new career idea, something strange happened. Talk about, perfect timing. The very next morning I received an email from the same local studio, which really caught my attention. Administrative Assistant-FOR HIRE.  I thought to myself….APPLY!  This was a prayer being answered.  The very next day I called the studio and landed the position that changed my life! I asked the owner to work part time while I studied to earn my personal training certificate. I worked part time hours at the front desk, shadowed the other trainers and studied online until I was a certified Personal Trainer! 

It didn't take long for me to get the hang of teaching clients and getting people results.  For the past decade, I have been cleaning up my past and have been coaching men and women to improve their performance, mental health and body composition. Coaching men, and women achieve their ideal performance, restore their performance, and stamina for sport, or to simply keep up with their children and become more mobile in daily activities.  Improving their health with sound nutrition decisions, being aware of their insulin sensitivity, reducing the risks of diabetes, and increasing good cholesterol. I have watched my clients bodies transform and their minds create an abundance of confidence. I have since made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping other dedicated men and women improve their performance, restore their performance, build confidence and improve body composition, by identifying their limiting factors!  I live my dream of traveling to Florida in the Canadian winters, and earning an income with my own online business. I have created the Active your Core Wellness Program, coaching people like you on exactly what to do to reach your peak performance, restore your performance through corrective exercise due to past injuries,  bust through your mental blocks, increase confidence and self-esteem, and provide fitness nutrition education. 

 

I have created a 90 day program of 8 important inner and outer guidelines to, creating a SMART goal, acknowledging your current and past limiting factors, nutrition education, grocery store lists/ grocery store tours/ kitchen makeovers, fitness education, maintaining your focus, re-evaluation and continuation. Any dedicated, action takers that apply these 8 steps will get their ideal performance, ideal health and ideal body composition and achieve the RESULTS they dream of in RECORD TIME.

It is my job and duty to care and be concerned for your overall health. You hire me as a life coach and mentor. I focus on improving stamina, increasing their energy levels throughout the day, restore sore muscles. You learn to plan and prep healthy and nutritious easy and affordable meals and snack by using my must have kitchen appliances, learn how to add daily habits into your lifestyle that will create the long term change you are dreaming of.  Learn to meal prep like a champion, learn the the tips and tricks of an efficient grocery shopping routine.  This 90 Day program  about respecting me as your expert consultant and yourself and your boundaries.” This is a program that will reconnect you with your true self. “ I need to start exercising, I need to start eating better, I need to lose fat, I want to look good naked, I want to become stronger, I want to be able to play with my children and not feel so exhausted! These are some common thoughts that may run through your mind. If you are ready to break through your limiting factors and reach your highest potential, this program is for you! This has been created for you to put new learnt habits, rituals, thoughts and actions in place within a few months (sometimes weeks!), which will eventually lead you to feeling stronger, more confident and more beautiful in your daily walk of life! 

 

With me as your coach  we will touch upon all aspects of your health. Exercise, time management,personal development,  stressors, limiting factors, energy consumers, good nutrition etc.  You have me as a strength and conditioning performance coach along with a corrective exercise coach, a conscious confidence creator, and a fitness nutrition specialist expert and consultant. I work on the inner and outer influencers in your lifestyle, and monitor and track your habits such as, your limiting factors, nutrition choices and exercise habitual. What that means to you is that you get a Strong, Confident, wise,physically and mentally fit experienced coach. I’m also a humble  and spiritual person and I encourage my clients to be open-minded as well. 

I’m concerned with how to improve your performance,restore your performance, increase your health and decrease your body composition FAST. You may not enjoy hearing the truth or the habits you must create – but you can be sure to see results if you do!  I will always communicate honestly about what’s standing in the way of your success and how to make the right choices FAST so you can start getting results in record time .

I’m known to work best with professional, dedicated, open-minded, coachable, respectful, patient, fun and easy going individuals.  If you are READY to show up and put in the work to get your results, and ready to to invest in yourself, knowing it takes time and practice to commit to a program to get results then, I would love to work with you. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For what type of professionals are your programs NOT going to work?

 

My previous clients have taught me how to be very selective in who I work with and have since hand-picked my clients, choosing to kindly turn people away who aren’t  ready and willing to dedicate themselves to being accountable. I like to make sure you are suited for my programs before I choose to work with you.  It is very important to know if you are not ready to be committed and not willing to dedicate 90 days to getting FAST RESULTS in your health and wellness. The STRONG CONFIDENT and BEAUTIFUL program is NOT for those who constantly make excuses, who skip sessions regularly, who don’t know how to respect themselves and my time. This program is not for me to convince you to join. It is not for the financially unstable either. It’s been my experience that people in financial crises are very unsure and do not want to commit to purchasing the tools and appliances I recommend. This program is not for closed-minded people. If you are someone who doesn't take constructive criticism lightly, this program isn’t for you. If you don't like to follow instructions this program isn’t for you. Lastly, i f you fall within this category, it’s absolutely OK. At one point or another we are stubborn and don’t want to take any orders from someone you don’t know! This program helps you identify the right support system for you. . This program is where your strength and power really comes in. My program teaches you how to improve performance (stamina and strength) through resistance exercise (beginners-advanced). How to restore your performance, with Corrective Exercises (athletes to elderly)  manifest your ideal body weight. I also provide 8 lessons on fitness nutrition like the sugar lesson, the fat lesson, a grocery shopping tour and a kitchen makeover! Taking action and allowing mistakes to happen is what will get you results. This program includes a detailed physical workout that will allow you to exercise safely and properly.
