The Six Habits to start implementing today!
Here are some questions to help you keep your eating habits on the right track
When did you last eat? If it’s been longer then 2-4 hours, its time to eat!
Where is there Complete Protein? Are you about to eat at least 1 serving (20-30g) of complete protein? If not, find some protein
Where are the Vegetables? Are you about to eat 2 servings of veggies? Prepare them anyway you like, and make sure to eat them every meal or a snack
Where are the Carbohydrates? If you have fat to lose but haven’t just worked out, do not consume pasta, rice, bread and other starchy carbs Instead have two servings of fruit and veggies If you just worked out, a mix of carb sources is fine
How much water have you consumed? Straight water or infused with fresh herbs is only considered for your water intake Drink half your body weight in ounces’ daily
Where are your fats coming from? Saturated - Animal fat, meat, cheeses, butter, coconut oil Monounsaturated- Cashews, olive oil, raw unsalted pumpkin seeds, unsalted almonds Polyunsaturated- Fish oil, hemp seeds, soy, raw unsalted sunflower seeds, brazil nuts
